As the Proprietor of Golden Anchor Maritime Solutions (GAMS), Mr. Salim Kabir is currently focusing on developing a professional seafarer recruitment and placement / manning service for qualified Bangladeshi Officers and Ratings for international vessels.

He has a broad practical understanding of manning agency operations, crew recruitment and placement, seafarer documentation, crew coordination, shipowner communication, crew deployment procedures and general maritime regulatory requirements. He is also working to strengthen the company's internal procedures and compliance framework in line with applicable national requirements and international maritime standards.

Mr. Salim Kabir is an entrepreneur with professional experience in international trade, export-import operations, commercial documentation, logistics and business development. He has developed extensive practical knowledge of international trading procedures, shipping documentation, customs and C&F operations, client coordination and international business communication.

With his experience in the export-import and shipping-related business environment, he has developed a strong understanding of international shipping, vessel-related commercial activities and the requirements of shipowners, importers, exporters and other maritime stakeholders. His business experience in international trade, client relationship management, documentation, negotiation and commercial operations provides a strong foundation for developing GAMS as a professional and internationally oriented manning service provider.

Chief Engineer MD Saifur Rahman is experienced with a wide range of world reputed shipping companies with 35 years of on board sea service: Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, Electra Maritime India, BLPL Shipping India, Simatech Shipping UAE, K-Line Japan, Providence Shipping Limited Singapore and almost all of the Bangladeshi private shipping companies — Abul Khair Shipping, SR Shipping, Mercantile Shipping, Deshbandhu Shipping, Bashundhara Shipping, Doreen Shipping etc.

He worked mainly on SupraMax bulk carriers, container ships and general cargo ships. He is keen and has acquainted himself to recruit quality Officers and Crews for shipping companies and ship owners. He is an ex cadet (25/E) of Bangladesh Marine Academy, Chattogram and granted Class-1 (Motor) COC from DOS, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He also has connectivity to shore based technical support workshops for providing on board repairs at Chattogram, Mongla and other sea ports in Bangladesh.

Cadi Shahid Ahmed is a Chief Engineer and was working with different ship management companies like V. Ships, ASM, MS Ship Management etc. During his 30 years of service he worked in different bulk carriers and container vessels and finally rose up to the rank of Chief Engineer.

With a vision to provide quality fresh graduates to Master and Chief Engineer, he is keen and has acquainted himself to recruit quality officers and crews for shipping companies and ship owners. Cadi Shahid Ahmed has a good academic background, having taken his pre-sea training from BMA, Chattogram and COCs from Singapore Polytechnic and MPA, Singapore.

Md. Refat Ul Islam has over 11 years of maritime industry experience with strong knowledge of international shipping, seafarer management, and crew operations.
As the General Manager of Golden Anchor Maritime Solutions (GAMS), he oversees daily operations, seafarer recruitment and placement, crew coordination, documentation, and client communication. His maritime exposure in Malaysia and international shipping environments adds valuable practical knowledge to the company’s manning operations.

Mustafijur Rahman is an experienced maritime professional with strong knowledge of seafarer recruitment, crew coordination, documentation, and vessel operations.
As a Crew Manager at Golden Anchor Maritime Solutions (GAMS), he is responsible for crew sourcing, screening, documentation, deployment, and maintaining effective communication with seafarers and ship-owners. His practical understanding of international maritime practices and crew management supports GAMS in providing reliable and qualified personnel to international vessels.

Istiaq Islam is a maritime professional with practical knowledge of crew management, seafarer documentation, recruitment, and international shipping operations.
